New Iraq measure would require withdrawal

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday she would bring a new Iraq measure to the House floor shortly to provide $50 billion in funds for the war, while requiring U.S. troops to begin redeploying out of Iraq immediately and conclude by the end of next year.

They’re pretty ticked off at the way that the Senate confirmed Mukasey 53-40 (odd how all the Democratic Senators running for President had somewhere else to be?), not to mention that little incident where House Democrats ran away from a Cheney impeachment like scared little bunnies. You went one too many times from that well, Madame Speaker, and you and yours have no-one to blame except you if it starts going dry.
